The Art-Nouveau building dates back to the early 20th century, and contains a modern wing. Rooms at the Amato come with a sea or garden view, and some have a balcony.

Very nice hotel. Big parking at the back of the Hotel. Sea view from first floor (room 224). Bus stop in front of hotel.

Poor quality and expensive restaurant. I did not quite like the breakfast buffet. The room where it is served was not to my taste. Besides, the quality of the food do not meet international standards. Location a bit far out of town center (5kms). Rooms were a bit too warm inside. No international tv channels on offer.

The room was small but clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful to me although they spoke no English (I speak Italian a bit.) For me the location was ideal although it’s not that close to town. It is a short bus ride to the centro storico. They have relatively large grounds in the back with a nice parking area.

De nachtportier spreekt geen Engels. Dus als je zoals wij om 6.30 uur naar het vliegveld moet is het lastig uitleggen dat de betaling de vorige avond al is geregeld.

Das Hotel war sehr gut zu finden und hatte einen großen Parkplatz. Eine Bushaltestelle ist in der Nähe, um in die Innenstadt von Palermo zu gelangen. (Wir sind gerne zu Fuß gelaufen, bei Stau auch nicht schlecht!) Zimmerausstattung und Größe waren prima. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich uns ein Zimmer zur Meerseite nehmen, wegen der stark befahrene Straße.

La camera situata nella parte nuova dell’hotel era molto carina anche se non particolarmente grande. Sempre comodissimo l’ampio parcheggio gratuito.
