The hotel is well situated for going to the most essential cultural web sites in the location: Segesta Erice Egadi Islands Trapani Palermo (Monreale) and Selinunte are all inside an hour’s drive. The hotel also delivers the possibility of excursions and boat trips, and the likelihood to dive on the fantastic all-natural coast line close to Scopello.
The hotel opened in 1969 but was originally founded in the early 1700’s, on the web site of an earlier Arab castle. Very carefully restored, this household-run hotel maintains the traditions of hospitality and fine regional cooking.

This was a great place to stay: eccentric, friendly and warm, with fabulous views, helpful staff and good food.

Everything about our stay was excellent, the helpfulness and pleasantness of the staff, the situation and location, the food. What pleased us most was how the owner/manager Agostino went out of his way to accommodate us when we asked if we could watch our local football team play in a Champions League game. He sat us in front of his tv and invited us to watch the match. His kids who were watching another game were told to go and watch it elsewhere.

The hotels veiw is to die for we had a sea view room over looking the Med and to sit on our little ballcony and look at the view was just fantastic. the breakfast was huge and superb. we can harterly recommend it.

I loved the ambience of the hotel and the surrounding beauty. It truly felt like I was miles away from reality and could totally relax. I also absolutely loved the friendly family who owns it and their generosity to cater to your needs.

L’albergo si trova in un contesto bellissimo, è confortevole ma l’atmosfera è al tempo stesso familiare: camere molto accoglienti, proprietari cordiali, ma non invadenti, personale gentile e disponibile, colazione ricca e varia, consumata su una terrazza con vista stupenda sul mare. Che altro dire? Ci torneremo.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Zimmer erinnert mit seinen dunklen Schrank und dem vielen Holz an ein gemütliches Bauernhofzimmer. Besonders hat uns die Dusche mit Radio und natürlich der Blick auf das Meer gefallen. Die Dame des Hauses war sehr nett zu uns, es gab sogar Sonnenschirme zum ausleihen für den Strand, was sehr nützlich war. Das Hotel bietet einen guten Ort für Ausflüge wie zum Beispiel Zingaro (Naturschutzpark), Segesta (griech. Tempel), Trapani (Salzmühlen), und Erice (mittelalterl. Burg). Deutsch wird eher selten in Scopello/Sizilien gesprochen aber mit Englisch kommt man sehr gut voran. Die Frau des Hotelbesitzers hat uns verraten dass im Winter das Hotel umgebaut werden soll, und evt. Kommt auch ein Pool hin.
Negative:
Was uns nicht so gefallen hat war der Essensgeruch. Durch den Betrieb im Restaurant (genau unter unserem Zimmer) war abends immer die Lüftung an (bis ca. 22.30 Uhr) und es roch eben nach Essen. Da muss man einfach damit rechnen oder man nimmt sich das Zimmer zur Straße raus ohne Meerblick. Ansonsten war das Bett sehr hart.

L’hotel è a dir poco stupendo,la cucina ottima (da assaggiare il cous cous superlativo) e il clima familiare.I Proprietari sono una coppia simpatica,cordiale e disponibile che vi faranno sentire davvero a casa vostra,come vecchi amici!Le camere sono confortevoli e davvero graziose e la posizione comoda!Assolutamente consigliato!
